G FUEL and the World’s #1 YouTuber PewDiePie Launch New “Yuzu Slash” Flavor

The world’s most popular YouTuber, Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg, and G FUEL have partnered to release the Swedish gamer’s second flavor, “Yuzu Slash.” The Official Energy Drink of Esports announced its newest release on Wednesday and is now available for purchase at gfuel.com.

An elixir which grants superhuman levels of energy, focus and endurance—sounds deliciously intriguing, doesn’t it?

Yuzu Slash is a citrus manifestation of PewDiePie’s energy, love of the unique yuzu fruit, and admiration of Japanese culture. The new flavor, which follows the 2019 launch of the self-titled, lingonberry-tasting “PewDiePie” variant, is the second release in G FUEL’s partnership with the legendary Samurai/YouTuber.

“We’re very thankful to collaborate with Felix and expand our successful G FUEL PewDiePie product line to include the unique and refreshing Yuzu Slash. It’s the perfect sequel,” said G FUEL Founder and CEO, Cliff Morgan.

Yuzu Slash is another product of G FUEL’s trademark sugar-free and focus-enhancing complexes, and is loaded with antioxidants from 18 different fruit extracts. The “mesmerizing YUZU FRUIT drink from the far east” is now available for sale in 40-serving tubs. A Yuzu Slash version of G FUEL’s powdered hydration formula will launch in July.

Earlier this month, the company launched a flavor to celebrate ‘World Tetris Day’ titled “Tetris Blast.” Also earlier this month, “Moab Mango” was announced as the winning flavor of the #FaZeGFUEL Tub Design Contest, and is expected to release by the end of the summer.

31-year-old PewDiePie is the world’s most popular YouTuber with over 110 million subscribers and over 27 billion views and counting. He created his channel in 2010 and quickly gained notoriety for his hilarious “Let’s Plays” of popular video games. The Swedish sensation has since expanded his content to producing comedy sketches, reaction videos, parody music videos, and news recaps. In 2019, PewDiePie became the first YouTuber to achieve the 100 million subscribers milestone, six years after becoming the most-subscribed-to YouTube channel in the world.
