Professional Fortnite player and Twitch streamer Nick “Nick Eh 30” Amyoony joined North American esports establishment Luminosity Gaming, home to the teams Vancouver Titans and Seattle Surge.
The announcement came via Luminosity Gaming’s (LG) Twitter, accompanied with a live stream with Nick.
The 25 year-old Canadian streamer, best known for playing Fortnite, creates family-friendly content centered around the game and is known for his largely positive and optimistic image, making him an engaging public figure for younger audiences.
Nick’s prominence in the Fortnite community as an influencer, content creator, and competitor make him a prime choice for LG’s esports scene. Nick boasts an exceptional following on many platforms, including his 2 million Twitch followers, over 5 million YouTube subscribers, and over 2 million TikTok followers. His social media accounts have similarly large followings, with over 3 million Instagram followers, over 700k on Twitter following of over 700K, and 24.8K on Facebook followers.
Nick Eh 30’s cheerful, friendly image and enormous fanbase make him an excellent addition to LG esports. In fact, it’s one of the reasons LG signed him. In a statement released by the company, they stated they repect his target audience and his goal to continue creating modest content. Being a part of this organization also allows Amyoony to perform alongside similarly positive figures and maintain his desire to be an influencer for all.
Nick Eh 30’s most recent endeavor in the Fortnite community was the establishment of the Nick Eh 30 Cup, a Solo Fortnite tournament with a grand prize of $10,000. This is the first tournament that will be hosted by Amyoony, with the target participants and audiences including his fanbase. The Nick Eh 30 Cup is expected to be held on November 22, 2020.
With his upcoming tournament and his recent signing with LG, expect to see a lot more of Nick Eh 30 in the foreseeable future.
