eUnited Valorant Adds jmoh To Squad

American professional Valorant player Jason “jmoh” Mohandessi has joined eUnited’s roster. The team made the announcement on Tuesday on its official Twitter.

jmoh was added to the squad ahead of the team’s upcoming second regional Challengers match in the Valorant Champions Tour North America Stage 1, where it will be facing GCU Esports. eUnited had recently joined Valorant with the acquisition of ex-Serenity players. After competing in the Nerd Street Gamers Winter Championship and placing in the top 16, eUnited had decided to drop one of its players, Tony “Showtime” Angotti, late last January.

On the other side of things, jmoh was released from ImmortalsValorant squad in early January along with Neptune. Immortals had one of the earliest squads in Valorant and had managed podium finishes in a couple of tournaments, but had not been able to keep up with the rising competition.

While roster volatility is such a common thing in esports, it’s especially so with Valorant due to its novelty. As the meta stabilizes further and the game matures in the industry, we’ll probably see less chaos than we are seeing now.

jmoh will be shoulder to shoulder with his eUnited teammates Tanner “scourge” Kages, Ryan “Eazy” Matthews, Joseph “Turnup” Sicre, and Joseph “Joseph” Rivera, vying for a spot in the Masters event of the 2021 Valorant Champions Tour.
