The North American organization, Dignitas, released its men’s Valorant roster after back-to-back disappointing losses, the org announced on its official Twitter account.

Dignitas established its full Valorant squad in August, and the majority of the community wasn’t expecting disbandment news in such a short time. However, the team’s existence in the Valorant scene will remain as it’s going to keep the women roster, which was created back in May of 2020.

“Dignitas remains an avid supporter of Valorant, and we will continue to field our women’s Valorant roster.” the team said in the statement.

Unlike its opponents in the region, Dignitas joined the party a little bit late in August by acquiring the Homeless roster. With the performance showcased in the Pop Flash Invitational where they placed in fourth, passing the region’s giant, the roster was caught on the radar of Dignitas. However, this merger didn’t provide the things both sides hoped and the team ran into some disappointing results. First, it failed to qualify for the First Strike event and then couldn’t take a place in VCT 2021 Masters 1.

“Dignitas has made the difficult decision to no longer field one of our two Valorant rosters, parting ways with Psalm, Dephh, Rara, Ryann, and Makka. We are actively searching for a new home for the players and look forward to following their success,” Dignitas said in the statement.

The squad signed up for VCT 2021 Stage 2: Challengers 1’s qualifier under the name of Dignitas, but will continue to compete in the tournament without the organization’s name.

Dignitas now has only one Valorant roster, which features:

  • Emmalee “EMUHLEET” Garrido
  • Amanda “rain” Smith
  • Kiara “milk” Makua
  • Melisa “Theia” Mundorff
  • Juliana “showliana” Maransaldi
