Dallas Empire Starts Season With Win Over Seattle Surge

Dallas Empire showed some solid performances last year which eventually led the team to the championship trophy. C6 and his teammates continued their dominant gameplay and started the 2021 Call of Duty League with a sweep against the Seattle Surge. Dallas Empire looked really strong and is probably the biggest favorite of the championship this year.

Game 1

Series started with a one-sided Hardpoint game. Dallas Empire won the first game 250-98 and made a solid start. Huke secured 35 kills in his 2021 CDL debut and Seattle was unable to find an effective counterattack.

Game 2

Dallas Empire didn’t have any hard time winning the SnD, taking it by a score of 6-2. Shotzzy had a massive play, as seen below, which literally got Dallas Empire its fourth round. Loony missed his spray and probably hoped the same for Shotzzy at that moment, but Empire’s player didn’t make a mistake.

Game 3

Dallas Empire closed out the series with a 3-1 Control win. C6 and Shotzzy secured 21 kills with Huke following them with 20. Dallas Empire made it look easy and closed out the series with a one-sided win.

Seattle Surge fans probably expected a lot more from their team but keep in mind that Dallas Empire is a serious opponent. We need to wait and see Surge’s performance against other teams in the upcoming weeks.
