Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Beta Comes to An End, Crushes Record

The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta has come and gone, but it seems a ton of people enjoyed it; in the end, this beta version was the most downloaded in the game’s history. The beta was set to close back on October 19th but was extended until the 20th simply because so many people were playing and loving it.

A tweet released by Call of Duty portrays a video mashup showing off all the great times people were having with the beta. Although the company has yet to put out the exact numbers of downloads on the beta, it has to have been an unseemly amount of people in order to have broken the record. Call of Duty has been releasing betas for their upcoming games for years.

People who played the beta enough and were able to reach level 10 will be super pumped to find out that they will be getting a special weapon blueprint for a gun called the “Mutual Animosity” when the full game comes out. More specifics about the weapon and how it will play are not available but just by looking at the gun, you can tell: it’ll be absolutely insane.

So, what do you guys all think? Did you think the beta version of Cold War lived up to the hype? Are you all excited for the full game to come out? And most importantly, will you all be rocking the Mutual Animosity when the game releases? Let me know in the comments.
