April’s Top 50 Most Watched Fortnite Streamers

Say what you will about Fortnite, but until proven otherwise, the game is still among the most popular out today. First released in 2017, the battle royale shooter has since become a worldwide phenomenon, amassing over 250 million users worldwide as of 2019. In April 2020 alone, players spent a combined 3.2 billion hours in-game.

Courtesy of Epic Games, a Twitch statistics and analytics service, crunched the numbers and compiled a list of the most watched Fortnite streamers in April.The list is as follows:

To the surprise of no one, NRG’s Clix and FaZe Clan standouts Nickmercs and Mongraal clocked in with the most hours respectively in April (and most months.)

·         TSM Ops and benjyfishy rounded out the top five, both of whom amassed over one million views last month.

·         April saw the arrival of a key acquisition for Team Liquid, Scoped, who was the 12th most watched.

·         Recent FaZe recruit and FaZe 5 winner Faxuty rounded out the top 25.

·         According to Twitchtracker, Fortnite was watched for 43.6 million hours on the platform last month, which is actually significantly lower than recent months.

According to sportskeeda, as of January of this year, there are at least 350 million registered Fortnite players, making it one of the largest gaming userbases.

It stands to reason that Fortnite is still alive and well, with no signs of slowing down anytime soon. We’ll keep you posted on more data as it comes in.
